Transferred - django-rq-email-backend found a new home

A decade ago, I created django-rq-email-backend for a few projects to queue emails to send without blocking one of my web server processes. I used the Django RQ background queue for a few projects, and it scratched an itch.

It’s a project that worked for a decade+ with only a bug or two over the years. I retired the project I built django-rq-email-backend for, and it’s gathered dust ever since. I also stopped using Django RQ.

Tom Carrick reached out to me and asked me if I needed help or was open to giving it a new home. I was thankful to find someone who wanted to continue the project, so I transferred the repo and the PyPI publishing rights to Tom.

Skip forward a few months; Tom has been running with the project and cutting new releases ever since. I felt comfortable transferring the project because I knew Tom from a few of his projects, and the project only appealed to a very niche audience.

Thank you, Tom, for continuing the project.
